Does mosquito control help with ticks too?

Yes. Mosquitoes and ticks often share the same habitat: shaded areas, wooded edges, shrubs and dense vegetation, with mosquitoes resting up high and ticks waiting down low. Our mosquito treatments target these areas and can also help reduce ticks where the products are applied, an added layer of protection against both. For a heavy flea or tick area, the one-time flea and tick knockdown covers everything from about chest height down, lawn included.

Where do you treat?

Trees, shrubs, ornamental plantings, wood lines, under porches and other shaded spots, reaching up to about 25 to 30 feet into trees, depending on conditions. The program focuses on those resting spots rather than the open lawn; Lawn Pest Defense treats the lawn surface.

When does the season run?

Up to 8 treatments a season, starting mid to late April and averaging about every three weeks through September.

Can you treat before a party?

Yes. A one-time knockdown treatment at a graduation, wedding or cookout helps keep mosquitoes from crashing the party. It's its own service, separate from the season-long program. Seasonal and one-time pricing available. Ask for it in your estimate.

When can kids and pets go back outside?

We recommend keeping pets and children off the treated areas until the treatment has dried, usually about one to two hours depending on the weather.

How much does mosquito control cost?
