When you check an address

The text you type in the address checker is sent to Google Maps to suggest addresses. After you select one, Google provides its location so we can compare it with our service-area boundary.

A check by itself does not save an estimate request. We do not put your address in page links or analytics. The website does not retain Google's coordinates or the list of suggested addresses in our lead records.

When you submit an estimate request

We save the service address you selected; your name, email address and phone number; selected services; optional details; and your permission to contact you about that request. If Google's formatted address includes a subpremise, it remains part of that one service-address value. We also keep the submission time and service-availability record so we can handle the request and avoid duplicates.

The website is hosted by Vercel and submitted requests are stored in Neon Postgres. A successful confirmation appears only after the request has been saved. An unsuccessful attempt may need a retry; your answers remain in the open form.

When you request an estimate, you agree we can contact you about it and send occasional emails about our services. Every email has an unsubscribe link. We also text the phone number you give us about your estimate and, if you become a customer, your invoices and visit reminders, including one the day before each visit. These are service texts, not ads. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP anytime to stop them. If you also tick “Also text me lawn alerts and offers,” we may text you tips and offers too, and you can reply STOP anytime. Our team reviews your saved request to prepare your estimate. The website does not use advertising pixels.

When you apply for a job

We send the answers from the application form to our team by email: your name, phone number, email if you give one, the town you live in, your answers about a driver's license, transportation, experience and pesticide certification, anything you write about yourself, and your permission to contact you about the application. Our email provider, Resend, delivers it.

We use your application only to consider you for work at Happy Habitat and to contact you about it. Your permission is for this application only. It is not permission for marketing or text messages. The website does not keep a separate copy of applications. We keep an application as long as we need it to consider you for work and keep business records.

When you send us a message

When you send a message from the Contact page, we email it to our team: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and your message. Our email provider, Resend, delivers it.

We use your message only to answer you. It is not permission for marketing or text messages. The website does not keep a separate copy of messages.

Temporary receipt and security

After a successful estimate request, a temporary receipt cookie lets the thank-you page confirm the save. It expires after 15 minutes and contains no address or contact details. Reloading that page does not submit another request.

We use input validation, a hidden bot-check field and request limits to protect the forms. Hosting and service providers may process technical request information to operate and secure their services.

Questions, corrections and removal

We keep saved requests as long as we need them to respond to your inquiry, provide service and keep business records. Please contact Happy Habitat if you want to ask about, correct or request removal of information you submitted.
